Grade I Listed Church Visit

My Camera Club made a visit this week to the Grade I Listed St. Botolph’s Church in Shepshed. Guided by Church Wardens and members of the PCC, we were shown the grounds, the church internally including balcony seating and organ, and the bell tower. There were 3 bell-ringers present to give us a live demonstration!

I took my Canon 1D X with my 24mm f/1.4 lens.

The aim of my visit was to take in the church and appreciate its inner details. There were numerous pieces of evidence to show how the church had changed from its Norman origins; extensions and additions.
